My Hug a Bug
Emma is so much more huggy and clingy than Ethan and Aria were (especially Ethan) I LOVE it! There nothing like the feeling when I go get her in the morning or after her nap or when she just wants a hug to pick her up and have her tightly wrap her arms around my neck. She's also quite the hugger with her brother and sister which ofcourse just melts a mom's heart. She hasn't done this with her brother and sister but with me she puts her open mouth tightly on my cheek. (I like to think that's her way of kissing and not just that she knows I have food :) Gotta watch out though cause now she has teeth!

Nature Shots
We got our first DSLR camera (still don't know what that means) and I've kinda been experimenting with it. There's so much you can do. Hopefully someday I can learn more and get better at photography. I just love Pictures!!!

Danny took this last one for me cause that would just be...well kinda impossible for me to do it!

A Late Mother's Day
How blessed is the mom that has beautiful healthy children.

Mother's Day in Black and White:

A piece of me I give to you
I painted this flower
to say, "I love you"
The heart is you
The hand is me
To show we are friends --
the best there can be.
I hope you will save it
And look back someday
At the flower we shared
on your special day.
(Ethan made this in is kindergarden class)
Ethan and Aria picking dandelions for mom (oh my favorite weed!!)

The card reads "Mother's Day is a chance for us to treat you like a Queen...A Queen with really lazy subjects who don't listen very well!"

Happy Birthday Aria!
Sorry this post is late baby girl! I hope you enjoyed your birthday. We sure had a fun day. I took you to Murray Pool in the afternoong which was really fun (as always) (although you're kinda chicken :)) Before we left I went to get your bathing suit and couldn't find it anywhere....I probably put in in one of the DI bags by accident. Anyways so we stopped at Shopko on the way there and ofcourse Miss impatient here just grabs the first one and holds it up....yep looks like it'll fit ok off we go!!! Ya just a leeeettle too big! You're such a teeny thing! But she says...that's ok mom I'll just hold it up!! You were so excited to go how could I say no :) Later we went to McDonald's for supper and to play and after we had your ladybug cake (which we made earlier in the day) and opened presents :)

Happy late Easter!
The morning started early, earlier than I realized. I woke up at 6:50 and thought "gee I'd a thought the kids would be up by now they were so excited last night" And then when they got up at 7:45 I was really surprised. Well our old alarm clock was still set to the old DST, ya like they'd really sleep in on Easter (yes 7:30 is now sleeping in :)) The Easter Bunny left a slew of eggs lying around and the kids had fun running for them. I think next year the Easter Bunny might do things a bit differently so it involes a little more looking. :)

Poor Emma didn't even stand a chance although she did manage to get a few eggs when she got up :)

Easter Monday we tried to get a family picture and some pictures of the kids. The family picture turned out pretty good but the kid pictures...not so much. The kids were still pretty super hyper on sugar (I say super hyper because they are ALWAYS hyper) I told Aria to keep her eyes open cause every time the picture flashed she blinked.....she sure kept em' open :)

Emma: "You're seriously taking more pictures"
