We made cereal!!

Hey mom look! I can make cereal all by myself cause I'm a care bear. Even made some for mom. Thanks little man....I mean Grumpy bear.

I even got the cheerios out for gentle heart cousin.

A little bit of Heaven

Every once in a while Danny and I will "sleep" with the kids. Ethan will sleep in the big bed with Danny and I'll sleep in Ethan's bed with Aria. So Danny lies on the bed and talks to Ethan while he goes to sleep and I lie on the bed with Aria. Looks like this: Mom and Aria lying face to face whispering to each other about all the people we love and then Aria says "but you don't love spiders cause they crawl on your skin and you don't love bats and you don't love owls"...wait a minute owls are kinda nice so mom says "owls are pretty but they're not very nice" Then she talks about how when she closes her eyes she dreams about ? (didn't really get that part)
She says she doesn't wanna close her eyes and dream about ?. So mom says well why don't you dream about care-a-lot (totally into the care bears right now) Ok. Aria then closes her eyes and mom watches her angel go to sleep.

Poor Ethan was sooooo dead tired this night (from being semi not feeling good the night before and being up half the night) he pretty much fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. When we went in later to check on him his body was half off the bed and he was still asleep (I wish I had had the camera at that moment but I thought we should rectify his uncomfortableness as soon as possible so I didn't run and get it)
Can't forget the Tuge who I'm sure we'll have the pleasure of sleeping with when she's older

She's a walkin'!

Boy oh boy where does the time go? Walking is now definately the chosen mode of transportation for my little Emma. Oh there's still many plops and flops but she just gets right back up and keeps on tryin'.
The other day we had some music on and she was actually swaying on her feet! It's such a wonder to watch how they develop and improve in balance and discover new things (right now I think the newest discovery is the wonderful sense of smell :))

I guess Moms ARE right sometimes

A couple of days ago I took the kids out for a walk. Ethan and Aria rode their bikes and Emma took the easy ride in the stroller. Ofcourse Aria had to bring her beloved ladybug that she takes just about everywhere she goes (guess its better than a blankie or buppy as I used to call it :)) So we get a little way out, first fall. Mom: "Aria would you like to put ladybug in Emma's stroller" Aria: "No it's ok"
Second fall a few feet later. Mom: "Aria why don't you put your ladybug in the stroller so it doesn't keep falling" "No it's ok" Third fall a few feet later.
Mom: "Aria I think you should put ladybug in the stroller so you don't lose it again" (this ladybug has been lost and searched for umptine times) Aria: "I guess you're right Mom"......Wow! Mom's CAN be right!

We turn the corner of the block and poor Ethan loses the pedal on his bike. Unfortunately the power of mom could not screw it back on his bike without a tool. For the next little way Ethan made a funny attempt to ride his bike with one pedal. I told him he'd just have to walk his bike the rest of the way and he did! I was so surprised.....no whining or nothing just pushed it like a little trooper. Go man!
