Boy oh boy I haven't seen this much snow in years. The last time I remember seeing this much snow here was before Ethan was born when we went up to Edmonton for Christmas and then came back to snow galore! I took Emma out for her first experience with snow yesterday after it dumped. She didn't like it too much at first. But after a few minutes she warmed up to the puffy white delight. She even sampled a little as her mom used to do. :)
Ya it was fun but thank goodness it is over! Kids are what makes Halloween fun and it is exciting to do the crafts and baking and reading and all that fun Halloween stuff with them and then to top it off with the trick or treating but once that trick or treating is done it's a race to get all the Halloween stuff down and start with the "real" holidays :) But ofcoarse they are always so adorable in their costumes that you can't help but snapping 234 quick pictures. Here are a few from the spooky night. I thought I had better put Emma in her costume right after her nap and try to get a few quick pictures before she tore it off. Yep...she did not like it AT ALL! After about 5 minutes of holding her and an enticing sucker I was able to get a few pictures..........before the meltdown...(these pictures do not do justice to the magnitude of the wailing and knashing of teeth of the Tuge [a.k.a Emma Drama Baby]) Ethan and Aria have been so excited this whole month for Halloween. Counting down the days and wearing their costumes in the house. On Halloween night they must of asked me about 50 times when we were going. When we finally did Ethan took charge and wanted us to follow him as he pointed out all the houses we should go to. Oh the excitement!!!
