The pizza chef

My little man seems to have a knack for baking things. Whether out of legos, tinker toys or foam letters he's always making something (not always edible) This particular pizza is topped with pickles, pepperoni and mushrooms! Yummmmmmmmmmmy!

Chili Baby

Aria has oddly enough always loved chili, even spicy chili. I've learned that if she's eating chili I better take her clothes off beforehand!!
"Mommy take a picture of the chili baby!"....says Aria after I called her the chili baby

When an angel smiles...

I think my baby is starting to smile. Now mind you it still is fairly early to determine between smiles and gas but I'm sure at least part of the time its genuine smiles :)

If you can do it...........I can do it!!!!

It is so fun to watch how Ethan and Aria interact together and how much Aria wants to emulate Ethan. The other morning they were watching a little clip on tv and Ethan would laugh at funny parts (he's really starting to recognize when things are actually funny) and then the echo came of Aria laughing each time. Then I even caught her looking over at him to see when he would laugh so she could. She hasn't really learned to recognize when things are funny....but she sure tries. She would laugh spontaneously and sometimes Ethan would say to her "that's not funny". Too cute!!
(I guess I shoulda put this post before the last one since it happened first :))

Could this be spring??

This weekend has been so beautiful that it gives me the hope that spring is on it's way and we'll be able to finally get outside. But as the saying goes (and since we're not quite to March) March comes in like a lion, goes out like a lamb! So who knows what the weather will do. Here's to hoping (and walking)!!
A volcano rock mommy!!

Love those mud pies!!

The two dirt monkeys

Music to my ears :)

Just havin' fun!

Doin' a little yard clean-up!

"An icky gooey worm!!" (this little worm became Ethan's pet for the next day! He talked about how it had a bath and he would look out the window to see if his "inchworm" was sleeping and then in the morning when it awoke....and ofcourse in his mind it was!!)

Happy "Love" Day!

I always tend to get a bit blue on Valentine's because...surprise surprise....Danny isn't the most romantic. What is romance though? When you're dating it might be flowers and chocolates followed by a nice candelight dinner and dancing. But when you're married with three children flowers and chocolates tend to get replaced with helping with the laundry and dishes; going out for a nice quiet supper with just being able to eat alone uninterrupted. So I guess if I look at it this way I'm pretty lucky. :)
I love you Daddy!

Mom, Ethan and Emma (I wanted it to be a family picture but we couldn't get our camera to do the automatic thing so Danny had to take it and miss drama queen was in one of her moods))

Fun with our tinkerbell and strawberry ballons!!

We got bubble bath! Ethan got a wonder pets movie and Aria got her wubbzy!

A Valentine's day BBQ (if you're wondering what Danny is doing with the tongs, he's making a V for Valentine's :)

A valentine's nap! Hello!

Bedtime snack: Pie and corn!!!

The cuteness of the "cooing"

Emma is now starting to "coo" (not "poo" although she does a lot of that too) more and it is so adorable! She is just such a little angel. So strong too she's really trying hard to hold up her head and her legs are getting stronger too. Nighttimes are still a bit of a hit and miss, but I think we're getting there. Just takes time for both mom and baby: mom to learn the different cries, how much she eats before a nice long sleep: and baby to just get adjusted to being here :) I am extremely blessed to be able to hold and love and take care of one of the most precious gifts in all the world. I love you Emma more than you will ever know.
