Anyways my friend had her kids built a cool fort in the living room and it brought back memories of the forts I used to build with my brother. My most memorable being our "box" fort and our "snow" forts. Of course there were many upside down couch forts too. We never did do too much of the "sheet" forts. Anyway I thought I would let Ethan build a fort down in the play room and see how he does. So I waited upstairs to see what he did. He has such a creative imagination. He used all his toys and some other things to make a neat linear fort. He is kinda funny and particular that way; how he arranges things in a linear fashion. Maybe he'll be an architect!!

The Fort
The weather has been really yucky lately and is just starting to get nicer. So this past week has been hard not being able to go outside for the kids. They get a little stir crazy like Ethan told his grandma the other day "Aria is a little crazy"

AR-Kansas
These past few days Danny had a business training seminar in Little Rock. He had been quite excited to go all week (hey free plane, free hotel, free car, free food; so what if it comes with some boring training...pretty sweet deal :)).
So his first day was pretty fun; his trainer took him and the other two guys out for lunch (even though his food was all paid for) pretty nice. People are to-ta-lly more laid back in AR-Kansas. The second day was a drag. One guy doesn't show up so it's just the two of them and the instructor just says they can work on a project from work (which ofcourse Danny didn't bring) so he just ends up leaving at about noon. Unfortunately his flight doesn't leave till 7:11 so he's got about 6 hrs. to kill in super exciting Little Rock! After eating at the nicest restaurant around (Chilis) and trying to use up his meal money (Cheesecake....nummy!) he drives around trying to find something to do......Nothing! No mall, no theater, nothing to do. No Mall? Are you kidding? Well he said there's like these little tiny strip malls around but that just doesn't cut it. Finally time to go. Goodbye to AR-Kansas! Great people, and beautiful scenery!
Danny said now that he's been there and seen how they operate at the building he went to he understands why his tech support questions take for--ever to get answered.....because that's just AR-Kansas!!
Pretty nice ride!

The Arkansas River

Quaint little neighborhood (could be a nice place to live.....except for the fact that there's no jobs and nothing to do :))

Welcome Home Daddy!!

Happy St. Patties Day!!!
Top o' the afternoon to ya'll! Ethan made this adorable leprechaun hat in preschool yesterday and he came home talking about those naughty leprechaun's. So with Ethan having a hat to wear ofcourse Aria has to put something on her head and what better than a green lego bucket!!

Spring is finally here! Yayyyyy!!! Time for bbq's, going to the park, going for walks, sitting outside in the evenings, gardening (whoa! got carried away there
x-nay on that one :) at least for now)
It's so nice to be able to send the kids out back to play and go inside and have some quiet time watching them from the window.
