The Architect

I am amazed at Ethan's creativity in making his tinker toy creations. It's funny to how he always has a story about what he makes. Among his creations are a house, many buildings, a bulldozer, a bicycle, a scooter, an airplane.

Changing everyday!

My little angel will be one whole month tomorrow. She has changed and grown so much. What a blessing it is to watch her change each and everyday. On the one hand you can't wait for them grow and see how their unique personality will develop and on the other hand you want them to stay little. Getting up in the middle of the night wishing you could just sleep one more hour and struggling to keep your eyes open will all to soon be oddly enough missed.

FEED ME!!!!!!
...my hungry girl is such a zealous eater that oftentimes she'll eat too fast and end up with an upset tummy...

Music to my ears :)

Sisters

Pretty in pink

Look at that funny hair!
...it's kinda hard to see in the picture but her hair has a little mohawk thing goin' on near the back, she's got nothing much on top and then toward the back on top it's longer.....kinda like her dad's (only his is going one way and hers is going the other...lol)

Dad and me
...this morning Danny and Ethan went to the Dinasour Museum at Thanksgiving Point with his preschool (hence the symbol on Danny's hand)...

Just so cute!!

"I love my little sister"

Ahh....my favorite activity

The Picnic

Yesterday morning Ethan and Aria were watching mickey mouse clubhouse and it was the one where they have a picnic and bbq hotdogs. Anyways after the two of them decided they would have a picnic. “To the toon car” shouts Aria. Ethan layed a red blanket over Emma’s little bath and pretended it was a car. Ethan tells Aria to push him in the car. She grunts and manages to somewhat push you around the room. When the two of you arrive, Ethan lays a big yellow blanket on the couch and calls it the picnic blanket. Then Ethan makes the lego hotdogs in the treehouse bbq with the lego lid grill. Safety first! Ethan asks to use moms oven mitts for his hands so they don't get burned. Meanwhile Aria sets the table in the transforming car into a table with hew pretend plates.

Baby blessing

Emma Laurette McIntyre was blessed in the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints on Sunday Jan.11/2009 by her father. Participating were Bishop Mickelson, Bishop Carruth, Doug Mangum, Phil Richins and Phil Chatwin. I'm very grateful that her grandmother from ALberta was able to attend this special event.

My dear sweet Emma,

Today you were blessed by your father and my hope and prayer for you, little angel, is that you will always know in your heart how much you are loved by so many here and by our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Always stay close to your Heavenly Father and you will be comforted and guided throughout your life.

With all the love in my heart
Your mother

How much they change....

In just two weeks Emma has gained 13 oz. (she never lost any of her birth weight), grown 1 1/2 inches and increased her head size by 2cm. It's amazing too how much her features have changed. Her eyes are focusing more and she is so alert at times. She is such a beautiful baby, my dear sweet Emma.
She has been an absolute angel. She certainly has a good set of lungs but you only hear them when she is super hungry. Such a content baby. Her brother and sister adore her and her sister at the slightest noise will say "it's ok baby Emma" And her big brother already seems somewhat protective of her. I'm sure he'll be a great big brother to Emma just like he is to Aria (well maybe minus the fighting and whining :))

Meeting my big brother and sister and getting used to my new home

Well I think Emma was meant to come to our family because her brother and sister sure took to her quick and she immediately seemed very comfortable here. Her first night was a complete success. She was very comfortable in her new room with her soft soothing music. She has a decent set of lungs when she's hungry but when she does get me up it's right down to business and then back to sleep which makes mom very happy!!

Her big brother is absolutely smitten with her. Every time I feed her he's right there softly rubbing her head and telling her how beautiful she is and he always tells me "I love my little sister so much"

Much to moms delight her big sister seems very taken with Emma also. (I was a little worried there might be some jealousy for not being the baby anymore or anger towards mom for disrupting her universe :))

My three little angels
