2 is the Tuge!!!

Our dearest Emma,

Two years ago you came into our lives and lit up the darkness that was. You have been such a blessing in our family and it is my honor to be called your mother. My Emmanation from Heaven, we look so forward to watching you grow and your adorable personality develop. We love you so so much Emma!!

Picture stories

Making Gingerbread houses...

Ward Christmas Breakfast...(we tried to get Emma to sit with Santa but I guess the white beard scared her off...It was only when he offered her a candy cane would she look at him :))

The Mug Shot...

I wanted to get a nice shot of the three of them with their new red sweaters...First attempt did not work...so later on in the day the mommy got a brilliant idea....the way to make a 2 yr. old sit still for pictures is to bribe her with candy :)

(P.S) To whomever sets the tables at the Christmas Breakfast: There are kids here...please do not put more candy on the tables....Do you not know that when kids see candy they do not want to eat anything else?...Much appreciation if you save the candy until after breakfast :))

Our yearly attempt at family Christmas pictures...

My Christmas Angels...

Christmas Eve pajamas...

Isn't Santa nice....he always lets us come down and take a picture when he is finished

Now for the big day!...

...Sorry no picture of our flue incident that unfortunately ruined the yummy leftovers of the first turkey I've ever made! No I wasn't bitter.

Holy Snow!!! Christmas is here!

Boy oh boy I haven't seen this much snow in years. The last time I remember seeing this much snow here was before Ethan was born when we went up to Edmonton for Christmas and then came back to snow galore!

I took Emma out for her first experience with snow yesterday after it dumped.
She didn't like it too much at first.

But after a few minutes she warmed up to the puffy white delight. She even sampled a little as her mom used to do. :)

Happy Halloween

Ya it was fun but thank goodness it is over! Kids are what makes Halloween fun and it is exciting to do the crafts and baking and reading and all that fun Halloween stuff with them and then to top it off with the trick or treating but once that trick or treating is done it's a race to get all the Halloween stuff down and start with the "real" holidays :) But ofcoarse they are always so adorable in their costumes that you can't help but snapping 234 quick pictures. Here are a few from the spooky night.

I thought I had better put Emma in her costume right after her nap and try to get a few quick pictures before she tore it off. Yep...she did not like it AT ALL! After about 5 minutes of holding her and an enticing sucker I was able to get a few pictures..........before the meltdown...(these pictures do not do justice to the magnitude of the wailing and knashing of teeth of the Tuge [a.k.a Emma Drama Baby])

Ethan and Aria have been so excited this whole month for Halloween. Counting down the days and wearing their costumes in the house. On Halloween night they must of asked me about 50 times when we were going. When we finally did Ethan took charge and wanted us to follow him as he pointed out all the houses we should go to. Oh the excitement!!!
