Christmas Breakfast
Ethan and Aria were so excited for this year's Christmas Breakfast with Santa so despite not having a voice I had to take them. Danny and Emma weren't feeling good either so they stayed home. And tonight the kids get to visit Santa again at Danny's family Christmas party! Of course my two shy kids were the first ones to jump up on Santa's lap!!

Trick or Treat!
Halloween came and Halloween went. I must say I am glad its over. I'm really not a Halloween person. But Halloween is for the kids and they had a blast. It was fun going to the pumpkin patch, making window decorations, making and decorating cookies, carving the pumpkins. I am always glad when its over though and its time for the more "meaningful" holidays. :)
The kids had so much fun trick or treating. Aria was so excited and so cute! She'd go up to a house say trick or treat and thankyou and then she'd giggle and go off running and saying let's so get some more treats! She was even more excited than Ethan. What a change from last year when we could barely get her costume on her let alone go out.
Goin' out to see the witches on Halloween (what a zoo couldn't get many pictures)

Pumpkins Galore!
Yesterday we went to the pumpkin patch at Engh gardens. They halways have such cute displays and the kids have so much fun walking around the pumpkins, playing on the pirate ship and running through the maze. This year they had a fun tractor too that the kids enjoyed sitting on. We got some nice pumpkins for a little pumpkin patch in our front yard and Danny picked out a weird lookin orange one (I actually think it's a type of squash or zuchinni??) Adds some nice flava though! Maybe once we get our own house we can grow our own little pumpkin patch! :)

Just a little update...
I thought it'd be nice for my family whom I don't get to see very often to have little updates every once in a while about how things are down south. (and it gives me a chance to brag about my precious angels :))
Danny is doing great at his current job although he is setting his sights on other possibilities. Although he likes where he is now there's not really anywhere for him to go and he doesn't wanna do what he's doing now forever. He does do programming with his job but he really would like to do software development. He's so smart and really capable of a lot more than what is required at his job now. Now MOM, don't go thinkin he's gonna do something stupid like quit! He's JUST looking. :) Easier to get another job when you already have one right?
I'm taking a couple courses this semester at SLCC (salt lake community college) Online ofcourse. :) I'm really enjoying them so far. In particular the discussions online. It's been a while though, with 5 years of playhouse disney, nursery rhymes and diapers I hope I remember how to be intelligent! I'm still enjoying my scrapbooking, although right now I don't get to do it that often. I'm also teaching in Relief Society at church which has been very enjoyable. So all of this combined with keeping the house clean and taking care of my babes keeps me pretty busy.
Now on to the good stuff :)
Ethan is totally enjoying Kindergarden. He loves going. Many kids get tired when they start preschool, not this man! Where does all the energy come from. He's doing so well and it's a lot of fun to read the library books with him he brings home and to work on his little homeworks :) He got a new backback and the first day we got all ready for school and he had this look on his face like he was gonna cry. I asked him what's wrong and he started sobbing saying something about his backpack getting lost. :) He's such a sensitive man. Now he loves it though and talks about how cool everyone thinks it is. Next thursday is his last soccer game....whew! I think that's a good thing. I really thought he'd like it more and he does say he does but really I think he just likes the uniform and rolling down the big hill there. Last night he just walked off the field to go play on this shed thing in the distance. Don't know if it's his thing :)
Aria is as feisty as ever! I can't even begin to describe how cute she is, with her little sing songy voice and red hair. She loves to sing and sings all the time. The funniest is that she sings ever time she's on the potty! Still can't get her on the big potty which is a bit of a problem.....she keeps saying she has to be 5 like Ethan. Uh....no. Not puttin you in diapers everytime we go out till you're 5!! We'll work on it. :) It's so cute that each time we take Ethan to school she has to wear her backpack too. It's almost as big as she is!
Emma is just cuteness to the max!! What can I say.....I absolutely loooooooooove this baby!! She has started her crawling career...I think. She's up to about 7 crawls before she flops down and goes back to her army crawling with one arm. She is getting so mobile she just scoots herself everywhere so fast! I know she's just making noises but it sure is sweet when she babbles mamamamamama!! A few weeks ago she was into clucking her tongue and now she popps her lips up and down like she's talking but only popping noises come out. Anyways can't really desribe baby noises but sooooooooooo cute! I love the way she nuzzles her face into my shoulder when she's hungry (something she's done for months). She's getting really bouncy in her "command center". I think she's enjoying it more now. It's amazing how strong her legs are getting. If it wasn't for that pesky balance thing she'd probably be walking.
It's such an incredibly frustrating, wonderful, joyous ongoing learning experience to spend each day with these three little angels. I wouldn't change it for anything! I love you my babies always!

School and Soccer
My little boy is officialy in the world now. I can feel my grasp on him slipping already. Kindergarden!! Kinda sad, kinda different but at least he loves it and is excited to go. I think I woulda been a basket case had he cried and clung to me for dear life like my brother did my mom.
His other new endeavor for this fall is soccer. Yeah.....isn't going so well. I really thought he'd enjoy it more but he just seems kinda disinterested. He's a sensitive little man and I think he gets intimidated by the more aggresive kids going for the ball. He kicked the ball once last game and then looked at me as to say ok my job's done let's go. He's also not a heat person which makes him extra whiny! Don't think soccer's his thing.

Swimming lessons
Ethan had his second summer of swimming lessons last month and he so loves the water. I think he is gonna be a total fish and his sister seems like she is following suit. Aria was so cute at his lessons! I would talk about his teacher, Miss Lori, and then she would always say to Ethan how he can't go in until Miss Lori comes in and she would get so excited to go see Ethan swim with Miss Lori.
